Not Silk - Tape Used On Ends Is Bad., April 14, 2012

Picked up box of this rope out of curiosity a while back and found out that the ends are taped in silver "foil tape" a metalic scratchy tape that is annoying to have on the ends and is really scratchy for actual bondage use. I was even more disappointed (although not surprised based on the price) to find out this was not silk at all. In fact, not even MFP. Cotton.... this is actually chinese made cotton, not japanese silk :
